North Rose Woman Crusades Against Teen Suicide
Tammy Richardson doesn’t want anyone to go through the pain of losing a loved one to suicide.
“Suicide is preventable,” the North Rose resident said.

State Police arrested former Village of Wolcott Clerk-Treasurer Melanie DeBadts on May 9 in connection with the theft of close to $68,500 in village funds.
DeBadts, 35, of Countryman Road, Wolcott, has been charged with Grand Larceny in the 2nd Degree and 106 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree. The multiple counts of falsifying records arose from DeBadts’s alleged efforts to conceal the thefts.
An audit of the Village of Wolcott’s financial records by the office of New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli led to DeBadts’s arrest.
Though village officials regularly met with representatives of the Comptroller’s Office during the audit, its outcome seemed to leave them shocked.
