Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Will Be Offering The N.Y. State Safe Boating Course

    The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Recreation Safety Division will be offering the N.Y. State Safe Boating Course. This course is required for anyone who will be operating a Personal Water Craft (Jet Ski/Wave Runner type vessels) and for anyone born after May 1st 1996 to operate any vessel. The course will be offered on the dates and locations listed below. Reservations can be made by calling the number shown with each class. Those attending must be at least 10 years old at the time of the class.

    Saturday, April 9th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Pal-Mac High School, 151 Hyde Parkway, Palmyra. Contact number is 315-597-3409. Those attending will need to bring a pen and lunch.

    Saturday, April 16th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 7376 Rt. 31, Lyons. Contact number is 315-946-5714. Those attending will need to bring a pen and lunch.

    Saturday, April 30th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 7376 Rt. 31, Lyons. Contact number is 315-946-5714. Those attending will need to bring a pen and lunch.

    Saturday, May 7th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 7376 Rt. 31, Lyons. Contact number is 315-946-5714. Those attending will need to bring a pen and lunch.
