Tax Counseling Program

    By on March 2, 2016

If you have a limited income, there are three ways you can take advantage of our free tax preparation program through Wayne CAP and the RSVP program.

    Community Tax Blast Day

Wayne CAP is opening their office on Saturday, March 19, 2016 9 a.m. – noon for the Tax Counselors to file as many tax returns as they can. 159 Montezuma St., Lyons, NY.

    • We’ll have computers set up for our volunteers to do their magic.

    • Have a cup of coffee and munch on a cookie while the RSVP volunteers do the work!

    • You can just show up, or call ahead to let us know you are coming.

    • And all this for free! Who said that filing your taxes isn’t fun?

    Call for An Appointment

FREE tax return preparation is available for senior citizens and low income families in sites throughout Wayne County via the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program and RSVP (Retired and/or Senior Volunteer Program).

If you would like an appointment or more information, please call Loretta at 315-665-0131×210: Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

File your own Taxes at Home

The My Free Taxes link on our website, www.waynecap.org connects you to a special H&R Block webpage that allows anyone (anywhere) whose household income is $62,000 or less to file both their State and Federal taxes at no cost. Why not give it a try?
