    • Lions Club President, Helen Drake, presents donation to Red Creek Community Food Cupboard, Co-Director, Paula McGibbon, with Secretary-Treasurer Susan Saylor and Co-Director Thomas McGibbon.

The Wolcott Lions Club hosted a spaghetti dinner on November 14, at the Red Creek Fire Station, to benefit the Community Food Cupboard. Volunteers from the Lions Club and the Food Cupboard came out to serve. Thanks to support from the community, the benefit was a success, enabling a generous donation.

On Wednesday, November 18, representatives from the Community Food Cupboard attended the Lions Club meeting to accept the much needed donation.

Director, Paula McGibbon expressed gratitude to the Lions Club, the Red Creek Fire Department and to the community.

“The support of the community keeps the Food Cupboard operating; the generous donations of our neighbors allow us to provide meals to those neighbors in need.”

Red Creek’s Community Food Cupboard provides help for families throughout the year. The holiday demand is expected to be greater than ever. Please consider a personal donation to the Community Food Cupboard to help neighbors less fortunate. All donations are appreciated.
