Members of the Fair Haven Arts Center and several students attended the Cayuga Community Fund Fall Reception at the Theater Mack in Auburn on Thursday, October1st. The Cayuga Fund provided a grant to the art center earlier this year to help the start up organization purchase needed materials. The Fair Haven group brought representative artwork from classes and events held at the Arts Center this summer for display at the Fall reception. Will Boydell, art teacher, brought an example of his work along with one of his students. The members also brought work from The Botanical Arts Workshop, the Watercolor Class and The Acrylic Class. Hannah Abrams performed a monologue on stage that she learned at the Theatre Summer Camp held at the Arts Center. It was very well received and we expect this will not be the last time we see Hannah on stage. She is a gifted young woman. The group thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Theater Mack and looks forward to working with the CCF in thefuture.

This coming Saturday and Sunday, October 17 & 18, the Fair Haven Art Center will be open form 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. as part of the Leaf Peepers Trail. They are one of three venuesexhibiting art work for this event.
